Cirque Dreams Kidstime

Laying poolside and soaking up some summer rays at your five star resort, near the translucent waters of the Caribbean, cannot sound more like perfection. Once the sun sets, enjoy a top-notch performance of circus acrobatics with colorful costumes. This is exactly why a stay at the Moon Palace Resort in Cancun is the perfect summer vacation. And you don’t have to leave the children back home either, because here’s a new family friendly option.

When you book at least five nights at the resort you’re rewarded with two free tickets to the Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy. The performance debuted in 2008 in the Broadway Theater and its stellar reviews prove that this is one show not to be missed. While most youngsters don’t like sitting for an hour or even less without squirming, you don’t have to opt out of the Jungle Fantasy. Instead of hiring a babysitter (which is also an option at the resort), your kids can enjoy the Cirque Dreams Kidstime program at the same time that you enjoy the Cirque Dreams performance.

The Cirque Dreams Kidstime is a series of professionally developed and crafted programs in which your children will laugh, learn and explore with Cirque Dreams performers and experts. The program takes place in the new Connection Zone kid’s club until August 5. The classes are each an hour and any child from the ages of 6-12 are welcome to participate. Lessons range from choreographed stretching and group interactions to motivational developmental activities and cognitive enrichment.

Some of the program examples include:

  • Jingle Juggling – your child’s coordination will be tested as they synchronize their tosses in perfect musical harmony.
  • Fast Step – The rope-skipping choreography will have your kid jumping for joy!
  • Eplorabotics – Kids can take a stab at circus performance themselves with rhythmic acrobatics, gymnastics, and balancing.

In addition to the Cirque Dreams Kidstime, the Connection Zone has a fully equipped arcade room and an endless supply of board games. You can join in a game of Candyland if you want, too! There’s also a range of activities that they can enjoy outside of the Cirque Dreams classes, such as mini golf, Spanish lessons, piñata making crafts, and masquerade nights. So while you’re having the time of your life, so is your kid.
