No More Meticulous Packing

In The Bag Ati Wrinkle

The holiday season is just around the corner and like 38.4 million other Americans I’ll be traveling for Thanksgiving.

And like most boarding an airplane, I’ll be figuring out a way to put all my stuff in a carry on so that I’m not required to pay those insidious baggage fees!  The only caveat; I’m notorious for packing too many shoes, which can do some damage on a matte jersey dress.  In other words, when I arrive I’m bound to have to do some damage control for wrinkles.

While shopping for some last minute items I stumbled upon a travel sized Downey Wrinkle Releaser. At only $1.47 the purchase was a no-brainer. Avoiding baggage fees is one thing but my designer duds were suffering.  Being the clotheshorse that I am I knew I had to test it out before my holiday trip to see the family.  So, last weekend I flew to Charlotte, North Carolina and packed the Downey Wrinkle Releaser along with a Bounce Lint and Freshness Roller ($1.99), a Dryel On the Go Instant Stain Remover pen  ($2.97) and a Tide Odor Absorbing Travel Laundry Bag ($3.97), all of which I picked up in the same aisle at the store.  My new travel essentials!

After check-in I sprayed a dress and a pair of trousers with the Wrinkle Releaser then hung them in the closet. I wasn’t expecting a miracle but was pleasantly surprised when I saw the results later that day.  The spray smoothed out the majority of the wrinkles and saved me some time when I was getting ready for the evening (no ironing, girls). Thankfully, I didn’t need the stain remover but the lint roller did come in handy.  The odor absorbing laundry bag, however, was definitely the star.  Think of all the times you’ve stuffed your sweaty workout clothes in the outer pockets of your bag to keep them away from your clean clothes?  Well, forget that.  Do yourself a favor and order the Tide Odor Absorbing Travel Laundry Bag and Downey Wrinkle Releaser for your next trip.
