Quebec City App

So you’re going to Quebec City – now what? Luckily, here’s Quebec City Tourism’s new mobile app to the rescue.

Quebec app phone

Remember the old craze for magic eight balls? Your questions about life, answered. Well, this new iphone app is definitely better than that, with comprehensive answers to your most important questions about Quebec City (Where do I stay? Where do I eat? What do I see?).

There are over 100 restaurant listings, 300 hundred hotels, and equally as numerous shops, attractions, and activities. Additionally, you’ll have a complete schedule of the city’s main events sitting in your pocket. For every listing, there are lengthy descriptions and enticing images.

The magic of the Quebec City app doesn’t stop short there. Say you’re aimlessly strolling down rue Saint-Jean. The app will then pick up your location and suggested must-see attractions will pop up around you. You’ll never have a moment of indecision, wondering where to go next. It even tells you where the nearest bathrooms are. And the application works offline as well, so you don’t have to worry about the dreadful roaming fees.

Don’t let the name fool you. The app not only works for Quebec City, but also for Côte-de-Beaupré, Île de Orleans, Jacques Cartier, Portneuf and Wendake.

Also coming soon: mobile versions of the site and app versions for the Android and iPad.
