R. Couri Hay

R. Couri Hay began his career as one of the original contributing editors of Andy Warhol’s Interview Magazine and went on to write for Town and Country and People. He currently writes for both Hamptons and Gotham Magazines and is also a society columnist for Avenue. He attended Georgetown and American Universities where he studied creative writing with Pulitzer and Oscar-winning author Larry McMurtry. Hay can be seen regularly on television commenting on Hollywood and society with appearances on PBS, CNN, FOX, The Today Show, E! News Live, Showbiz Tonight, MSNBC Live, ABC’s Primetime Live and VH1’s Fabulous Life. He is the CEO of R. Couri Hay Creative Public Relations, a public relations and press agency. The company has represented Prada, Harry Winston, Bergdorf Goodman, Bulgari and Veuve Clicquot. Hay has orchestrated press for charity galas including the 100th Anniversary of the Julliard School, Live at Lincoln Center and the American Ballet Theatre. Couri lives in New York City and Southampton with his King Charles Cavaliers Webster and Cornelia.
