If you’re an avid traveler and have tons of miles piling up, this new site is the light at the end of the tunnel for you.
GoMiles is a new web startup that helps people take control of their frequent flyer miles, hotel points, car rental points and other loyalty program points, once and for all. It lets you track all your miles on a single visual dashboard, and then enables users to drill down into each account to see more detailed information (like progress towards elite status, or expiration dates). One feature that is unique to GoMiles is that by changing a pull down menu, they convert all your point values to show you the number of round trip coach tickets you can buy – in essence the purchasing power for all your accounts. They also have a nifty “GoDeals” feature, which shows relevant promotions to help you earn miles & points even faster.
GoMiles.com was founded by Michael Komarnitsky, a former management consultant at Booz & Company. He traveled 40 weeks a year for client work and racked up thousands of miles, only to have them expire because he didn’t read the fine print on the airline website. He has built GoMiles so that nobody has to read all those complicated rules and conditions – GoMiles wants to make it dead-simple for people to manage their points effectively.
The site is in a private beta, but we’ve secured 25 invites for our readers using the referral code “TRAVEL-SQUIRE-FRIENDS”.
