Flavors of Florida’s Historic Coast

Flavors of Florida’s Historic Coast eating at rest

If the end of the summer marks the end of beach and bikini dieting, fall is the season to ramp up your carbs and dive into the pasta.

For the full month of October on Florida’s Historic Coast, home to 42 miles of unspoiled Atlantic beaches and St. Augustine, the oldest city in the US, eighteen of Florida’s outstanding chefs will be cooking up a storm for “Flavors of Florida’s Historic Coast.”

It’s whole month of unique, delicious and affordable dining … simple enough, huh? The 18 restaurants, serving seafood to French cuisine, are showcasing the culinary wonders of their masters in a three-course prix fixe menu.

I’m personally excited for 619 Ocean View’s Brie Dumplings with raspberry coulis, The Tasting Room’s Guava Glazed Pork Tenderloin, and Donovan’s Shrimp Po’ Boy with caramelized onion and apple compote. Thankfully a 31-day month means we get the chance to try everything (and maybe go back to our favorites once or twice)!
