Have you ever felt so at home in a hotel that you didn’t want to leave? Did your accommodations have a state of the art kitchen, a glass encased game room, an oversized lounging area, and a backyard? Yeah, we didn’t think so. These revolutionary features are part of Hyatt’s new extended-stay hotel concept, Hyatt House™.
With the help of Stonehill & Taylor, Hyatt is hoping that their new batch of hotels will provide a social and contemporary environment for their guests. More than 50 Hyatt Summerfield Suites® hotels and Hotel Sierra® hotels will undergo remodeling and be rebranded as Hyatt House starting next year. The studio, one and two bedroom kitchen suites will incorporate the latest technology with comfortable furnishings, a combination that will make you feel like you’re home but only a hundred years in the future.
The Stonehill & Taylor design allows guests to really settle in, get comfortable and multitask with ease. Each room has signature one-of-a-kind chairs that can be work stations or play loungers which is entirely up to the sitter. Featuring power outlets, a fold out tablet, reading light, reclining back, cup holder and heating option, you might want to move right into the chair and forget the rest of the suite. But we’re sure you’ll eventually make it over to the room’s H Bar, an integrated bar/island that transforms from a breakfast bar to a cocktail bar in the evening. Or maybe saunter into the glass enclosed game room with home entertainment system and pool table. Just make sure to wipe your feet and hang your coat in the suite’s mudroom before you enter.
Hyatt House will also have features to make your stay feel like a home away from home. If you want a hot meal, the lobby has both prepared meals and gourmet groceries in an open, airy marketplace if you decide to cook on your own. Even though the suite may have an urban vibe, each suite has a backyard that features tranquil outdoor lounges, a fire-pit, and wet bar. Tacky pink lawn flamingos and weeds? Not in this backyard!
Hyatt’s extended stay brand caters to travelers who want an engaging environment but also a relaxing place to recharge. So whether you’re staying four nights or forty nights, Hyatt House will make you feel like you’ve never really left home at all.
