If you’re a bonafide fashionista or just like to hang with the supermodel crowd, no doubt you prefer a hotel to be scene central from the lobby to the pool to the after hours lounge. Our friends over at LuxuryTravelBible.com really know their stuff when it comes to traveling deluxe and in style and they’ve sniffed out a short list of properties that show no signs of losing their buzz anytime soon. Here’s our shorter list of favorites:
Maison Moschino, Milan
Locale: You’re in Milan, one of fashion’s revered capitals so it makes perfect sense for one of the primo Milanese brands to set up a property here. And don’t forget – the Milanese do risotto like nobody else.
Nearby: Like cheese? Gorgonzola, the namesake town of the popular blue cheese, is just a short 10 miles from Maison Moschino. The Quadralitero d’Oro, or the Rectangle of Gold, is a small square only about a mile away where you can shop the selections from designers like Giorgio Armani, Prada and Versace. For something else nearby, take a short trip a mile southwest through Parco Sempione and admire Leonardo DaVinci’s work at the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie. Here you can view his most famous masterpiece The Last Supper.
What We Like:
- Located in the heart of the city so it’s close to everything.
- Some accommodations have fairy tale themes like Little Red Riding Hood and Alice in Wonderland to get your imagination revved.
- Their ART/SPA has a Turkish bath, Jacuzzi, hydro massage and gym so you’re slim and svelte in those designs from the latest Italian collections.
Armani Hotel, Dubai
Locale: No doubt about it. Dubai is one of the hottest places on the world map to visit, and we’re not talking temperature. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that there’s a hotel sporting the Armani name and it’s situated in the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa.
Nearby: Check out Dubai’s Mall of the Emirates which is just a few miles south of the property and even has an indoor ski slope. You can also shop an array of designer stores like Balenciaga, Dolce & Gabbana, Christian Dior and of course Emporio Armani to name a few.
What We Like:
- The Mall of The Emirates ensures you won’t run out of things to do during your stay in Dubai and who really ever tires of shopping?
- The Hotel’s rooms are drop dead chic and include exclusive Armani amenities.
- You’re staying in a record-breaking building.

Bulgari Hotel, Bali
Locale: This property is located in Indonesia on the Isle of Bali in the south Kuta district. This is one of the most tropical of the locations on our list so expect beach-related activities. Bali is also great for the adventurous traveler with a wealth of outdoor activities.
Nearby: You can hang at the famous Kuta beach and learn to surf at one of the local surfing schools. There’s also river rafting if you want to venture further into the island for an adrenaline rush.
What We Like:
- Private villas mean you have the place to yourself with no prying eyes.
- Dolphin spotting and sunbathing on their white sand beach.
- An Arts & Crafts store onsite dedicated to local crafts will have you searching for that perfect treasure to bring back.
