From Dallas to Barbados!

Why do west-coasters and tall Texans hardly ever make it to this island paradise? Probably because the effort to arrive at the white sands of Barbados involves a long travel plan via Miami International or New York’s JFK All that has changed now with American Airline’s new non-stop schedule to Barbados from Dallas-Ft. Worth.  The inaugural flight took place on December 16th, and now those people seeking the warm, turquoise waters and creole cuisine of the eastern Caribbean can get away 3 days a week, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, just in time for rum punch and a winter celebration.  All flights are served by Boeing 757’s. Rich in history, culture and cuisine, Barbados was voted #8 in the World by Trip Advisor’s “2008 Travelers Choice Destination Awards” 5 star-resorts, quaint B&B’s, plantation homes and villas, host central and western U.S. visitors looking to explore Barbados’s Harrison Cave.
