Julie Zimmermann

"All you need is a full tank of gas" her Dad used to say. Julie's love for spontaneous adventure led her to Travelsquire where she is eco-adventure contributing editor, on the heels of tripping with her Yoga-Safaris Unlimited project, hosting guests to eco-wilderness spots around the globe. Julie's background in tv/film and theatre has borne her love for the unusual. The character, the soul of each new destination, and all roads to discovery beckon and she is out the door. Julie connected with the Squire because of a mutual love for the spontaneous adventure, discovering the character and soul of a new destination with fresh open eyes. As a yoga teacher and consultant, she hosts trips for her Yoga-Safaris Unlimited to spots all over the globe, introducing guests to wildlife conservation and ecology awareness. Based in NYC, she has toiled in telvision, film and theatre for many moons and has numerous projects to her credit. A performer and student of jazz, her 2 documentary short films "Birdland" and "Pee-Wee Marquette, The Sunny Side of the Street" are enjoying screenings this summer and fall.
